Elizabeth Lerman
Fiction & Prose Editor
Elizabeth Lerman is a creative writer who loves woods, waves, wildlife, bookshelves, bayous, horror, highways and alliteration. In her work she is drawn to surrealism, suburban gothic themes, exploring the significance of in-between moments, investigating the uncanny and addressing feelings of displacement and deja vu.
When she isn’t writing, Elizabeth is prowling used bookstores, binge watching Bravo, walking her dog, dreaming of crocodilia, curating horror recs, reading something spooky, singing along to John Denver and deep diving into her obsession of the week, whatever it may be. Ashley Falla
Poetry Editor
Ash Falla is a poet and storyteller drawn to the quiet devastations of love, loss, and memory. Her work lives at the intersection of the personal and the lyrical, tracing the soft aftermath of grief, the weight of inheritance, and the unspoken language between people. Whether through poetry or prose, Ash crafts narratives that linger — tender, haunting, and deeply human.
Her poems read like letters left behind: full of tenderness, shadowed by loss, and unafraid of stillness. Through her current work, she offers elegies for the living and the gone, exploring the rituals of love, death, and what remains. She believes in the weight of small things — a cup, a room, a voice — and the story's objects refuse to let go.
Ash lives in New York City with her husband, Stefano, and their dog, Gatsby. She earned her MFA in Poetry from The New School and is currently working on her first poetic memoir.
