Endless days having oatmeal
for lunch at 4:30pm. Endless
days listening to Blossom Dearie
& the Blue Stars’ The Pianist,
her jazz piano: quiet; her French /
luxurious. Endless days watching
summer sprint away for the year;
hail autumn, here’s the cue:
you’re up next. Endless days,
endless days, endless days.
